These plates are solid and high-quality. They are coated with a baked-on enamel for beautiful shine and durability. Plate measures: 4" W x 1-1/2" H. We automatically darken the engraving (unless requested otherwise).

If you choose to have holes drilled, they will be 1/8" in diameter (3 mm). If 2 holes are chosen, the holes will be on each end, 1/8" from the sides of plate, and centered from top to bottom. If 4 holes are chosen, the holes will be on each corner of the plate, and 1/8" from the edge of the plate.

If you choose to have corners rounded, they will be rounded to a 1/8" radius.

For use with indoor applications only. These plates are not meant to be mounted outdoors or in otherwise humid conditions. The engraving is not deep, such as embossing/debossing, but it is lightly cut into the plate surface.
These plates are intended for mounting to stationary objects that will not be moved around, such as frames, trophies, walls, doors, etc. Please be careful to check the engraving information that you send to us. We engrave the plates exactly as the text is typed in the customization areas.

Great-looking brass plate, and great service

The engraved, brass plate looks great on my wood project (walnut, finished with natural Danish oil and beeswax). The font selection is plenty big to find the right look for the plate. The metal is thin, for a low-profile look. I installed it with two brass screws supplied for a very reasonable up-charge. I should have opted for the rounded corners for another small up-charge, to give the plate a more organic look. The plate was wrapped in clear plastic for shipping, to avoid scratches. The brass screws were bagged separately, and an extra screw was supplied. This was especially nice, as sometimes screws this tiny get lost or broken during installation. I drilled 1/16" pilot holes for the screws. Next time I will probably drill 3/32" holes. The service from Rossi Engraving was great, with a prompt reply to my email as well as quick turnaround on my order. I will be happy to use Rossi Engraving for my next project.
